Here at Marquis Royal Court Chihuahuas. We strive to provide quality healthy puppies from top quality parents which were imported from all around the world, which was very expensive. and we have invested thousands of dollars into each of our breeding pairs. Importing I have paid up to 15K for one dog, Plus 2500. in shipping for one dog, then adding genetic health testing, shampoos, vaccinations, flea, tick and heartworm prevention, deworming, high end food, whelping boxes, beds, potty pads, my husband now a retired veterinarian, and any surgeries required we take to our local veterinarian, for c sections, teeth cleanings, spays and neuters which have increased a huge amount due to inflation.

Chihuahuas normally have small litters 1-3 pups max, unlike large & medium breeds.

We feel our pricing are very reasonable considering what we have to offer and the time we put into our breeding program.

Puppy prices range from 2500-5500.

My job as a responsible breeder is to ensure that each and every one of our gorgeous puppies go to the best forever home possible. Therefore we are careful as to where we place our babies. All puppies are sold with limited AKC on a spay/neuter contract unless previously approved for full AKC registration. We ask that you please fill out or application and tell us a little about yourself, how many dogs you now own, where you live, are you looking for a pet companion, or a puppy for show/breeding.
Please keep in mind when viewing and inquiring about our puppies that I receive many inquiries on a daily basis. A deposit can be accepted to hold the puppy of your choice. I CANNOT HOLD A PUPPY WITHOUT A DEPOSIT.
A $1000.00 to $1500.00 non-refundable/non-transferable deposit is required within 2 days of a verbal commitment to hold your puppy. We will transfer payments only if your puppy becomes ill with a life-threatening illness or passes away while in our care. All of our puppies are raised in our home with love and care. They are exposed to different sounds and experiences to help them develop into confident and well-socialized puppies. We provide all necessary vaccinations and deworming before sending them to their new homes.

Our puppies will receive a healthy vet check by my husband Dr. Mark R. Hembree DVM which is a licensed Veterinarian,(he's now retired, but accommodates our dogs and puppies. Each puppy will have health exam around 8 weeks.Your puppy will be up to date on age-appropriate vaccinations and dewormed every 2 weeks from 2 weeks of age. Each puppy will come with a one year health guarantee. Estimated weight is only an estimate and is not guaranteed.

All puppies must be registered with the kennel name "Marquis Royal Court", there are no exceptions. We prefer if you could drive here and meet in person at a public location.
Safe delivery is always available once your puppy is old enough and eating well.... normally around 9-10 weeks of age, through our experienced Pet Nanny (of 4 years) who will ensure your puppy safe delivery to you. Puppy must be paid in full and deposit made to pet nanny before pet nanny can set up a delivery date.

Price Increase

Due to inflation and rise in dog foods, vet care, medicines, C-sections, supplies, vaccinations, heart worm prevention, dog beds, toys, cleaning products and etc.

we have no choice but to raise our prices. How can a reputable breeder continue to breed and raise healthy happy pups now with such price-increases...We have No choice but to raise our prices. If we tend to stay in business. I try my best to be reasonable.

People don't really realize the number of costs we breeders have even before a litter hits the ground

The cost before a litter is born....Progesterone testing, stud fee if we don’t own the sire, ultrasound, vitamins, special food for our pregnant mommas. We go to a veterinarian clinic that doesn't work for free. In fact they have raised their prices on office visits, C-section, puppy vaccination, meds and everything has increased.
If you have a C-section on weekends, on holidays, or after opening hours prices...you may pay anywhere from 3000-6000. For a C-section. Chihuahuas are known for requiring C-sections.
I'm not even talking about the money we spend on puppy supplies, replacement milk, vitamins, puppy food, puppy pee pads, shampoo, toys, beds, flea, and heart worm preventive, medications and etc.

The expense of taking care of our adults, very costly, they require quality food, vet care, teeth cleanings, vaccinations, deworming, and etc.

I have imported chihuahuas from different countries (for certain looks and bloodlines) which has cost me a fortune up to 15k for one dog. Shipping cost is very expensive now and on the rise.

When I start weaning my babies they are put on a high quality puppy food which isn't cheap. The list just goes on, not to mention the time that’s required taking care of adults and puppies,(around the clock) even when a mom has only 1 live puppy, she requires the same amount of care as a mom with a litter of 3 pups...Often times we lose pups and whole litter, even moms. It’s not a happy day of playing with pups as one might think, breeding has many heartbreaks along the way. But joy as well.
We are lucky if we break even ( yearly taxes is the killer of a small business ...If you adopt one of our puppies you can be sure you get a well loved, socialized and happy puppy,,,, We put a lot of love and care into raising our babies and take that extra mile, to make sure we provide the very best for them ... I give my all to each and everyone of our puppies. This post is just to make people clear there's a lot more to breeding than just putting a male and female together. Breeders work 24 hours a day and even holidays.
There's a lot of backyard breeders out there that sell for cheap, (not Breeding quality chihuahuas) but are only in it for the money and do not take properly care of their adults and puppies.
I don't make a living out of my dogs.
We do it out of love for the breed there's nothing more rewarding then making families happy and seeing your babies that are being loved and well taken care of. Priceless :)
